Damaged #R30 road claims another car─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 09:50 Sun, 13 Mar 2022
Another car has sunk into the body of water next to the road along the accident-prone section of the R30 road between Allanridge and Bothaville in the Free State.
According to 1life911 Emergency services’ Facebook page, it is reported that four passengers managed to escape from the sinking car.
More than 10 accidents have occurred on the notorious road since early February of this year.

Contractors recently reinforced the road surface in an effort to curb further incidents.
It became evident the road could be a problem when an Intercape passenger bus liner, carrying 86 passengers, including children, ended up trapped in the body of water.

The police are yet to confirm if there were any casualties in the latest incident.
