An Intercape bus liner is the latest casualty of flash-flooding reported in the Free State of late.
Reports indicate that the passenger bus got trapped in a body of water on the R30 between Allanridge and Bothaville.
A spokesperson for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the Free State, Sipho Towa, says the incident occurred on Saturday morning. He says 83 passengers have been rescued by emergency teams. No injuries have been reported.
On Friday morning, OFM was already receiving reports of flooding on the same R30 road between Brandfort and Welkom.
