The previously ‘moved aside’ CEO of the troubled Pelonomi Hospital, Baesi Ramodula, is back in her seat.
According to an anonymous source, Ramodula returned to work at the beginning of the month. OFM News earlier reported that the Head of the Free State Health Department, Godfrey Mahlatsi, said to hospital and health workers Ramodula “has been moved out”.

Mahlatsi announced to the workers that the CEO has been moved out of the institution and that all their issues will be addressed accordingly. He also stated the decision to move Ramodula out of the institution was not influenced by the strike.
He was addressing the hospital and health workers who downed tools demanding safer and healthier working conditions. OFM News confirmed that Ramodula is back at work and has sent detailed questions about her return to the department.
