Police search for two missing persons in FS─── BLAINE JONES 09:55 Fri, 07 Jan 2022
Police are currently searching for two missing persons in two unrelated incidents, but in the same area.
The mother of one of the missing persons, Elizabeth Stayitayi, reported her son missing on Friday morning.
Police spokesperson for the province, Stephen Thakeng, says on 5 January 2022, Sipho Stayitayi informed his mother that he was going to the Department of Education to submit documents. He never came back until she reported him missing at the Thabong Police Station.
OFM News’ Blaine Jones reports Elizabeth Stayitayi also mentioned to police that her son has a mental illness. A Missing File has been registered to trace him.
Furthermore, in another incident, Isaac Chaka reported his wife missing on Christmas Day.
Chaka reported that his wife, Puleng Poho, left home and told him she was going to the hospital as she was not feeling well. She never came back after she left home on 25 December 2021. A Missing File has been registered for further investigation.

Meanwhile OFM News previously reported a girl who identified herself as Karabo, who was found crying next to a butchery in Welkom CBD on Thursday morning.
According to Thakeng, members of Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit were engaged and tried several times to talk to the girl, but she does not say much. She is believed to be between the ages of 16 and 17. Karabo was found in a possession of a cell phone that only has four contacts, of which one is a foreigner residing in Durban.
