#CoronavirusFS: Police halt church activities─── CATHY DLODLO 06:54 Mon, 26 Jul 2021

Congregants at the Christian Revival Church in Bloemfontein were ordered by police on Sunday to stop what they were doing and disperse.
Provincial police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele, says they received a complaint that CRC congregants were holding a church service which was against the Covid-19 level 4 Disaster Management Regulations.
He said the complaint was attended to and the congregants engaged. Makhele said the congregants indicated that they were allegedly preparing relief food parcels for people in KZN.
He said after deliberation they were requested to stop whatever they were doing and disperse. Makhele said no one was taken into custody. CRC's pastor, At Boshof, has spoken out openly against the regulations that did not allow for church gatherings.
