The Free State Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DESTEA) is upping the ante on supporting businesses in the province.
Destea MEC, Makalo Mohale, tells the OFM Business Hour that this support is not only limited to small businesses, but larger more established ones as well. Mohale and members of his department were on Wednesday, 7 September 2022 visiting Central Media Park in Bloemfontein.
Mohale noted in particular the department's efforts in driving growth in the Free State tourism sector, imploring all stakeholders, media partners included, to work alongside Destea in attracting tourists and marketing the many facilities the province has.

“The Free State is at the center of it all, therefore it has to be the go-to province and it is fast gaining a reputation as an inland destination of choice for adventure enthusiasts, nature lovers and heritage tourism seekers, and many other hidden gems,” says Mohale.
