This year Grey College Secondary School will host its 18th Music Festival in the Sand du Plessis Theatre. It is a privilege to welcome Old Grey Naledi Mohapi, Ruhan du Toit, and Samantha Leonard who will be sharing the stage with Grey College’s talented learners. Tickets for the Saturday afternoon show, 26 August at 12:00, are still available online.

The first-ever International Comedy Festival (BICF)will be held in Bloemfontein on September 2, 2023, at the Pacofs Theatre. The show promises to be one for the books as it will consist of acts that will come together to showcase some genuine real-life comedy. 

Free State born and raised comedian Chris Mapane will host the festival with other comedians from around the world: GRIFF (USA), CHRIS MAPANE (SA), Ty Ngachira (Kenya), Luv Lav (USA), OB Amponsah (Ghana), Lekzy Decomic (Ghana),Deo Gratius (Tanzania), Tol ASS MO (SA), Prins (SA), Stuart Taylor (SA),Celeste Ntuli (SA).

Now in its tenth production run, Sullied, the seminal work of director Matjamela Motloung and choreographer Kristi-Leigh Gresse, examines the psychological effects of patriarchal ideologies and misogyny within our society and how that feeds into our daily experiences. Sullied, the multi-award-winning production, will be showcased at PACOFS in Mangaung during woman's month, from the 24th to 26th of August2023.
