Political stalwart and Deputy President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, was born on 17 November 1952.
After retired from active politics as a former trade unionist and ventured successfully into the private sector.
He then re-joined the political scene in 2012 during the African National Congress’s (ANC) Elective Conference in Mangaung, Bloemfontein.
That’s when he became Deputy President of the ANC and in 2014 he was appointed to the position of Deputy President of South Africa by Jacob Zuma.
His career has been nothing short of controversy as he came under fire for reportedly bidding over R18 million for a buffalo a few years ago.
