Wellington - The statue of revered Andrew Murray outside Wellington's Dutch Reformed Church has been defaced with red paint.
The statue of the reverend, which dates back to the 1840s, was found vandalised this morning.
The Drakenstein Municipality says it's preparing a statement on the matter.
And the Dutch Reformed Church says it's not willing to comment at this stage.
