Magaliesburg - A man was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after a quad bike accident in Magaliesburg, North West.
ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said it is understood the man was riding through a quad bike trail when he lost control while going around a bend.
It is believed he was ejected from the quad bike. He hit a tree before landing about a metre down a slope.
ER24 paramedics as well as Life Healthcare paramedics treated the man. The Fire and Rescue Department was also on scene to offer assistance.
