Search continues for newborn baby allegedly abducted from Bloemfontein hospital─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 11:34 Thu, 22 Jan 2015
Bloemfontein - There are no positive leads in the search for a missing newborn baby boy allegedly stolen from his mother at Pelonomi Hospital last Friday.
Free State police spokesperson Mosili Ntsika says the case is still being investigated. She says police are searching hard and following up all leads.
Ntsika says the baby’s 19-year old mother, Dimakatso Nyangintsimbi, alleges her baby was stolen from her by another women in a toilet at the hospital. Nyangintsimbi was apparently waiting for an ambulance to take her and her baby home after she gave birth to him during the week.
She has appealed to anyone with information that could assist the investigation to contact their nearest police station.
