The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for a severe thunderstorm in Gauteng.
Residents, as well as motorists travelling to the province, have been warned to be vigilant, as strong winds and hail are expected to accompany the storms.
Some residents have already started posting images of the hail to social media.
This follows heavy downpours which the province has experienced since last week Thursday.
Emergency services officials have been on high alert since last week, amidst storm warnings.
The weather service has warned via their Twitter account that North West, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo will experience similar weather today and tomorrow.
