Music streaming has slowly but surely started to take over the world as more and more people use various platforms and services to stream and listen to music. One reason streaming has become so popular among the population is because it is an ‘anytime, anywhere’ kind of medium. It is immediate. Popular streaming services such as Apple Music, Google Play, Shazam, and Spotify are only but to name a few where users can get access to and stream their favourite songs – immediately.

One of these streaming services, as I’ve mentioned before, is Shazam. I’m pretty sure that you are familiar with Shazam or atleast have heard of it by now. Shazam has a lot of functions such as ‘liking’ songs you want to hear more, browse various charts, creation of your own customized playlists, and, obviously, stream and listen to music. However, Shazam's most famous function is where it will identify an artist name and song title by holding the device close to a speaker/radio and clicking on the given button. After a song has been identified, you can like the song and add it to your own customized playlist should you want to.
