Big improvement in Drotske’s health─── MOLEBOGENG MALEBO 12:16 Thu, 27 Dec 2018
Naka Drotské, former Springbok and Cheetah hooker, might be ringing in the new year in hospital, but his health has been steadily improving.
OFM News spoke to Mediclinic Bloemfontein’s hospital manager, Carl Buhrmann, who could not give a definite date of when Drotské will be moved from the ICU, but said that there has been quite an improvement in the former Springbok hooker’s health. Buhrmann further confirmed that Drotské underwent a procedure yesterday (Wednesday 26 December) to clear out the infection in his arm. He added that extra precaution will be taken regarding his health which will result in a trip to the hospital’s theatre once a week.
OFM News earlier reported Drotské was shot during an attempted house robbery in Pretoria, where he underwent surgery. Following a setback, the retired rugby player was admitted to Mediclinic in Bloemfontein.
