The Wolmaransstad School for the Deaf received some much needed aid all in the spirit of Mandela Month.
North West Community Safety MEC, Mpho Motlhabane, visited the school near Leeudoringstad yesterday, where in 2015, three teenage girls died and 23 were injured when their hostel caught fire in the early hours of the morning.
A computer room was also damaged by the fire. Twenty-two computers and an unknown number of laptops were damaged.
Motlhabane explains the department donated table tennis equipment and sanitary towels to the learners.
