MAP: Motorists be aware - Safety March under way from UFS to CUT─── 12:16 Thu, 27 Jul 2017
UFS students have left the UFS' Bloemfontein campus. They are marching to the Central University of Technology to join more students, whereafter they will proceed to the municipal offices in the Bram Fischer Building.
A memorandum will be handed over by the students to both the MEC and the mayor of Mangaung.
The students will be promoting the theme of "a safe campus, a safe city in a safe province", as this march is aimed to enhance the safety of students, both on and off campus.
Vice chancellor, Francis Paterson, and SRC president have asked the students to march in a peaceful manner as they go to converge with CUT students.
This map might assist motorists who want to adjust their routes.
