Mahikeng - North West Premier Thandi Modise has axed three MEC's following a cabinet reshuffle in Mahikeng last night.
Mosetsanagape Mokomele-Mothibi, Louisa Mabe and China Dodovu are no longer members of the provincial executive.
Mabe has been implicated in alleged irregularities relating to the appointment of a legal firm to conduct disciplinary hearings at a cost of R16 million.
China Dodovu is facing a murder charge, while Mokomele-Mothibi is under investigation for abuse of privileges.
Collen Maine, Manketsi Tlape and Wendy Matsemela have been sworn in as the new MEC's of Social Development, Local Government and Education respectively.
This is Modise's third cabinet reshuffle.
