Kimberley - The sister of Deon Steenkamp, one of the victims of the Griekwastad triple murder, is in the witness stand today during the trial of the minor who stands accused of the murders.
A 16-year old boy is accused of killing Deon, Christel and Marthella Steenkamp on their farm Nauuwhoek in April last year.
Deon’s sister, Marianna Smith who lives in Stellenbosch, spoke clearly and confidently as she testified on the events from the day after the murders.
According to Smith she saw the accused the evening after the murders and she described him as being his usual self and not sad or emotional.
