SAMUEL BROADBENT HOUSE in Potchefstroom is a Methodist Memorial and was officially opened in May 1972.

The Home has 45 Frail Care beds, 35 Alzheimer Care beds, 21 Rental Units and 14 Life Right (PFU) Units available where we strive to provide affordable, secure and caring accommodation and services to the elderly.

The excellent position of the Home makes it accessible for residents to visit shops, the Post Office, Churches and other central buildings. Although the home is situated in a heart-warming, pet friendly, quiet area; it is still near to the centre of town where people and friends move about each day. The home is open for aged persons of all cultures, races and religions.

Lovely self-catering units are available for sale on a life rights basis or to rent, enabling healthy residents to live independently, but still have access to the care centre if and when necessary.

We have a Frail Care as well as a specialized Alzheimer unit staffed by Professional and Enrolled Nurses 24/7. Granny Day Care & Sick Bay facilities are also available for families who wish to have their loved one recuperate from a visit to the hospital or who are in need of accommodation for their elderly loved one during a weekend break away or holiday.
