Miederpark – value for money homes

In 2021, approximately 60 properties were sold in Miederpark. According to Engel & Völkers Potchefstroom’s market research, most of the homes in the Miederpark market are 3 bedroom homes selling for an average of R1.2 million. 2 Bedroom townhouses are in the market for an average of R795 000. Engel & Völkers clients under 50 years of age frequently buy in Miederpark for the large, spacious homes, large stands, good value for money and the tree rich area.

 Van der Hoff Park – upscaling in your 30’s and 40’s

In Van der Hoff Park, approximately 62 properties were sold in 2021, of which 12 were sectional title properties. Mostly 3 bedroom homes starting from R2 million. With quick access to the N12 for business men and women commuting to Gauteng, several convenient shopping centers nearby and a large green strip in the area – Van der Hoff Park is popular amongst Engel & Völkers clients in their 30’s and 40’s.

Tuscany Ridge Estate – security and lifestyle estate

Tuscany Ridge Estate is one of the top security estates in Potchefstroom and extremely popular. There are seldom free standing homes under R3 million for sale and amongst Engel & Völkers clients with families the demand for large 4 bedroom family homes in Tuscany Ridge Estate is high. Tuscany Ridge Estate also includes a few complexes – where buyers under the age of 35 years prefer to buy.

Approximately 36 properties were sold in Tuscany Ridge Estate in 2021. Since this is part of the luxury home market, homes of up to R14 million are seen in the Tuscany Ridge market. The demand for homes in Tuscany Ridge Estate is so large that two Engel & Völkers Potchefstroom agents, Juan Badenhorst and Clarissa Hansen, listed and sold a R5.8 million home in the estate in only 1 day.

Part of the allure of Tuscany Ridge is the security and the lifestyle. Residents enjoy walking their dogs in the estate or spending time at one of the many dams in the estate’s green areas.
