NW Health MEC visits JST Hospital following fire scare─── KEKELETSO MOSEBETSI 14:05 Thu, 21 Apr 2022
The MEC for Health in North West, Madoda Sambatha, on Thursday visited the Job Shimankana Tabane (JST) Hospital in Rustenburg to assess damages following a fire that erupted Wednesday night.
According to the statement issued by the department, the fire has affected a part of the Mental Unit at the JST hospital. Sambatha says that the department is not yet aware of what exactly caused the fire, however, the department has launched investigations.
He says only one patient was sent to the casualty ward for inhaling smoke. Other patients and staff were unharmed.
