Supporting specifically black farmers, through the black farmer commercialisation program, will ensure that South Africa remains food secure.

This is the opinion of the chairperson of the African Farmers’ Association of South Africa, Afasa, in the Free State, Nakana Masoka, who spoke at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s stimulus investment summit outside Bloemfontein on Tuesday.

Masoka says there are two thousand black farmers out of the seven thousand commercial farmers in the Free State who just need support to be sustainable.

That was Nakana Masoka, chairperson of the African Farmers’ Association of South Africa, Afasa, only on OFM News.
