The Free State Youth Orchestra (FSYO) is a key component of the Free State Symphony Orchestra Company. 

It acts as a feeder orchestra for the FSSO and is an essential element of the music-educational pipeline at the Odeion School of Music in Bloemfontein. Its membership comprises senior learners as well as university students.

The FSYO nurtures and grows the talent of young musicians. Join them as they showcase their talent and hard work in their concert “New World”.

“New World” is being hosted at the Odeion in Bloemfontein on 11 May, and entry is free; seats just need to be reserved on Quicket. The concert is at 16:00 and is the perfect opportunity for young and old to support the orchestra of the future.
