Welkom explosion: Harmony Gold to start assessing damage─── 07:49 Mon, 23 Mar 2015
Welkom - Harmony Gold is today expected to assess the damage caused by an explosion in Welkom on Saturday.
The suspected methane gas explosion happened at around 17:30 and left six people injured and several hundred properties damaged.
The six injured people were admitted to Mediclinic Welkom for smoke inhalation.
