Kuruman - The protests which have seen learners missing more than three months of schooling in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District in Kuruman could be resolved as soon as this weekend.
Spokesperson of the Joe Morolong Road Forum, Kagisho Gaborokwe, says they will meet the contractors who will be building the road, which is at the centre of the protests, tomorrow.
Gaborokwe says they met with Northern Cape Premier Sylvia Lucas and MEC of roads and public works David Roe yesterday, who are expected to return to Kuruman tomorrow to introduce the contractors to the forum, the community and various stakeholders.
