Thabang Moselane's Biography

Inspired by Marian Nyako-Lartey, Thabang says he was that boy at the back of the class who just couldn’t stop talking and today he has been given a mic. Born and bred in Christiana, North West, his love for radio started in 2014 just before joining campus radio station, Kovsie FM. “Radio is a way of life for me, it is part of my DNA and I can only thank God for that. I get to make the audience happy and that alone is fulfilment enough for me. Through this medium, I believe I can inspire confidence in my peers and make them realise that nothing is too big to accomplish.”

Apart from radio, Thabang does community outreach with children in rural areas and delivers motivational talks to high school learners in and around Bloemfontein. He is also a contributing writer for online publication called The Journalist, an aspiring businessman, UFS student, DJ, Voice-over Artist, MC and Campuskey Brand Ambassador. Thabang also organizes an annual charity event called the ‘Epitome of Purpose’ - a women’s seminar which aims to celebrate, appreciate, empower and teach women simultaneously beyond the month of August.

His favourite quote is; “If you think it’s your alarm clock that woke you up in the morning, try putting it next to a dead body and understand the grace of God.’’
