Christie's Biography

A very familiar voice to Central South Africa, Christie Hansen re-joined OFM in April 2023 to present ‘Classic Sundays’.

Born in Kimberley, Northern Cape, Christie studied education at the University of the Free State.

According to Christie, his radio career started quite coincidentally when he was asked to read news on a community radio station. After that, the radio bug bit hard and nowadays Christie’s favourite place behind the microphone.
