On Saturday, 1 June 2024, the Potchefstroom Airshow – a first-of-its-kind display of the best of South Africa's aerobatic teams and display pilots – takes place. Enjoy an exciting, adrenaline-filled day at Potchefstroom Airport. Gates open 08:30 and close at 16:00. The Farmer's Market will ensure that it’s a fun day out for the whole family.

The Potchefstroom airfield is on a military base with a few access points. The best entrance to use, is the gate directly opposite the Potchefstroom Mediclinic. If using a GPS, it is best to type “Potchefstroom Mediclinic” into Google Maps or Waze. It will direct you to the correct gate.
