Weird Wide Web – Cheaters beware! | News Article

Cutting corners tends to be very tempting, especially when you are in high school, writing an exam you didn’t really study for. As tempting as it may be, it doesn’t make it right and this teacher made sure his students learn this.

Young people will always try cutting corners and getting maximum results while doing the least amount of work. This is mostly seen during exam time, especially in varsity. Procrastinating till late then trying to write an exam without studying for, leading them to think that cheating is their only option. Well this teacher had had enough of her cheating students!

According to the Daily Mirror, the suspicious educator spotted that an unusual number of students needed to use the bathroom during exams. Instead of just one or two, when an exam was half way through, more and more students suddenly needed the bathroom.

Suspecting that they may be busy checking out the answers to the question paper somehow, he made a plan to catch them out.

He added an impossible to answer question and added it to the paper. The only way any student could get this answer right, was to search for the answer online. To guarantee that he catches the cheaters, he also planted an answer on the web.

Once the exam was over, those who'd answered correctly were emailed and told they'd been busted.

According to the article, the teacher apparently posted the bogus question on a website students sometimes use for help with answering homework and exam questions.

Obviously, they'd have thought the teacher knew nothing about the site, but - as is often the case - he was way ahead of them. Read the entire article by clicking here.
