National Disability Rights Awareness month, which is celebrated annually in South Africa is, drew to a close on December 3.
This is also the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and is also commemorated as our country's National Disability Rights Awareness Day. OFM News’ Pulane Choane digs deep into this matter as she talks to a disabled student, the head of a centre for disabled students at the University of the Free State, and she takes a look at interventions government has committed to embarking on to address challenges faced by disabled persons in the country.
