EFF confident of winning Sedibeng─── 14:42 Wed, 24 Apr 2019
Potholes in the Emfuleni local municipality, and lack of service delivery will work against the ANC come 8 May. This is according to the EFF member of provincial leadership Kholeka Mandyu.
Mandyu spoke to Ofm news after a political debate at the Eldorado hall in Sebokeng in the Sedibeng district. Mandyu says the people of Sedibeng have long been promised service delivery, but nothing has happened from the ANC.
She adds that the Emfuleni municipality is characterized by dilapidated infrastructure, and strong smells caused by sewage flowing in the private homes and CBD.
Mandyu is confident her party will do exceptionally well in the coming elections. She says this is because the residents want change in their lives.
BLF deputy president Zanele Lwana is hopeful her party will do well but did not elaborate on how they will bring change to the people.
ormer Sedibeng Mayor, Mlungisi Hlongwane, says the people will still vote for the ANC, while the EFF concluded by adding that victory awaits them after the elections. Mandyu explains.
