“The doctor says he's happy, the specialist says he's happy, and to have him back, especially because we lose a guy of Willie's experience - is fantastic for us.”

The Bulls have received a major boost ahead of Saturday’s United Rugby Championship final against the Glasgow Warriors in Pretoria.

The Springbok winger, Kurt-Lee Arendse, has been given the all-clear following a cheekbone fracture against Benetton, and he has been named in the starting XV.

Arendse will play on the left-wing with Devon Williams moving to fullback. Willie le Roux in was ruled out throughout a concussion he sustained in the semi-final against Leinster.

The Bulls coach, Jake White, confirmed that the speedster, Arendse is fit and ready for the final.

“The doctor was happy and really impressed and really happy with how Kurt-Lee has recovered," said White.

“You can't target anyone's head, so there's no fear of anything other than the fact that he wants to be part of it.

“The doctor says he's happy, the specialist says he's happy, and to have him back, especially because we lose a guy of Willie's experience - is fantastic for us.

“If I didn't think he was ready, I wouldn't force it. The bottom line is that it's got to come from the player.

Saturday’s Grand Final at the sold-out Loftus Versfeld will kick-off at 18:00.
