Cheetahs captain Sekekete set for Ospreys debut─── MORGAN PIEK 07:39 Sat, 17 Feb 2024

The Toyota Cheetahs captain, Victor Sekekete, will make his debut for Ospreys in the United Rugby Championship on Sunday when they play against Ulster in Swansea.
Sekekete is one of three Cheetahs that joined the Ospreys on a short-term deal with the others being the loose forward Jeandré Rudolph and the centre, Evardi Boshoff.
Boshoff in turn will also be making his debut for the Welsh club after being named on the bench for the clash against the Northern Irish team.
Sekekete will play in the number five jersey and hence he will be in charge of calling the lineouts. He will play alongside James Ratti in the second row.
Meanwhile, the Ospreys loosehead prop Tom Botha, is a former Cheetah and he played in 39 games for the team from Bloemfontein between 2016 and 2018.
The trio are the second group of Cheetahs to represent the Ospreys after Rewan Kruger, Marnus van der Merwe and Daniel Kasende played for the Welsh team in late 2023.
Sunday's game between the Ospreys and Ulster in Swansea kicks off at 17:00.
