On Friday, 10 May 2024, OFM invites listeners to join in a special celebration dedicated to moms everywhere.

Here is what listeners can look forward to:

In Music for Mom, OFM will take requests for songs dedicated to listeners‘ beloved mothers between 06:00 and 18:00. From timeless classics to contemporary hits, every song will serve as an acknowledgement of the special bond between mothers and their children.

Adding an extra layer of excitement, OFM presenters will be joined live in the studio by their own moms. Get ready for a mix of laughter and heartfelt moments as the moms share embarrassing childhood tales and anecdotes. It is a rare chance to peek behind the curtain and see the personal side of your favourite presenters.

Finally, as a token of appreciation, OFM will give listeners the chance to win a special treat! Each show throughout the day will be giving away R1 000 Spur gift vouchers to four lucky moms in Central South Africa.

According to OFM’s programming manager, Tim Thabethe, many of us have wondered about the moms behind the voices that we listen to daily. “What better way to praise our moms for who and what we are today. This is OFM‘s ode to mothers across Central South Africa and a reflection of what they represent to us all. This is OFM’s gift ahead of Mother’s Day – filled with special moments, music and prizes.”

OFM vier ma’s met spesiale program

Ter ere van Moedersdag maak OFM gereed om hulde te bring aan die merkwaardige moeders wat ons lewens vul met liefde, vreugde en eindelose ondersteuning.

Op Vrydag 10 Mei 2024 nooi OFM luisteraars uit om deel te neem aan ’n spesiale viering wat aan moeders oral opgedra word.

Hier is waarna luisteraars kan uitsien:

In Musiek vir Ma sal OFM tussen 06:00 en 18:00 versoeke vir liedjies uitsaai wat opgedra word aan luisteraars se geliefde ma‘s. Van tydlose, klassieke tot kontemporêre treffers, elke liedjie sal dien as ’n erkenning van die spesiale band tussen ’n ma en haar kinders.

Om tot die opwinding by te dra, sal OFM-omroepers se ma‘s by hulle in die ateljee aansluit. Maak gereed vir ’n paar aangrypende oomblikke terwyl die mammas kinderdaeverleenthede en grootwordstaaltjies deel. Dit is ’n seldsame kans om agter die skerms te loer en die persoonlike kant van jou geliefkoosde omroeper te beleef.

Ten slotte, as blyk van waardering, sal OFM luisteraars die kans gee om ’n spesiale bederf te wen! Elke program deur die dag sal ’n R1 000-Spur-geskenkbewys aan vier gelukkige mammas in Sentraal-Suid-Afrika weggee.
