POWER OUTAGE: Electricity maintenance planned for Bloemside Phase 7─── 11:50 Mon, 07 May 2018
Due to maintenance work that must be done, the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality is warning residents in Bloemside Phase 7 of an electrical outage that will take place on Tuesday, 8 May.
In a statement issued this morning, the metro warned that the electricity will be interrupted from 09:00 to 16:00. Residents are requested to consider all installations as live and dangerous, as the power may be restored without warning at any given time during the shutdown period.
The metro also apologised for any inconvenience this may cause both domestic households and businesses in the area. The metro also cautioned residents stating that should the maintenance work not commence within an hour from the given time, they should consider the outage postponed owing to unforeseen circumstances.
In this instance, the metro will then issue another outage warning at a later date. Residents are encouraged to contact Centlec at 051-409-2345 or 086-007-6937 with queries.
