Seattle octopus did not try to escape─── 10:31 Sun, 08 Mar 2015

Seattle - Seattle Aquarium officials say a giant male octopus, caught on cell phone video scaling his glass display tank earlier this week, was not plotting an escape.
Reuters reports the video, which has gone viral on the web, shows 'Ink' inching his way up the cylindrical glass tank to squeals from onlookers.
Aquarium spokesperson Tim Kuniholm explains the animal was placed in a new exhibit and he was merely exploring his boundries.
A Seattle aquarium employee later put Ink's arms back inside the case, and a so-called "evening cap" was fastened on top to help keep the curious fellow in place.
Ink is a giant Pacific octopuses, the world's largest species of octopuses, weighing on average about 41 kg and measuring 6.1 meters across.
In the next year, Ink will be released back into the wild as part of an ongoing education and conservation program for the species.
