Potchefstroom - Rustenburg police have arrested a 32 year old suspect for the murder and rape of Binky Mosiane at Anglo American’s Khomanani shaft.
Mosiane was brutally murdered and raped last year while on duty underground.
The suspect, who was employed by a private contractor as a safety representative officer underground at the time of the incident, was arrested yesterday at Hoopstad.
North West police spokesperson Thulani Ngubane says investigations so far suggest that the suspect was not alone during the crime and more possible arrests are imminent.
