Craig Mark, director of Sculpt X @ The Melrose Gallery, joins Mid-Morning Magic's Yolanda Maartens to chat more about the exhibition.
This is the fourth installment of SculptX, the largest annual sculpture fair in South Africa. Conceptualised by The Melrose Gallery, in association with Melrose Arch, SculptX will take place from 3 September until the 24th October.

Sculpture enthusiasts will once again be treated to a plethora of works created by many of South Africa’s most acclaimed talents who will exhibit together with an exciting mix of emerging and mid-career artists.
The line-up is very inclusive including many women and artists from the previously disadvantaged communities who have traditionally been underrepresented in the sculpture sector, including sculptors from Central South Africa.
This leads to a mesmerising display of sculptures across different themes, sizes, and mediums including stone, bronze, clay, wood, crystal, ceramic, recycled materials, plant carbon resin, found objects, and mixed media.
