This year's National Arts Festival is a hybrid festival of the arts, anchored in their home of Makhanda, accessible online, and coming to you in cities across South Africa!

National Arts Festival Live in Makhanda – a small, intimate rendition of the 48-year-old festival with curated and fringe programme elements, the Eastern Cape Showcase, live works of the 2020 Standard Bank Young Artists, Masicule choral concert, food and maker experiences, and outdoor events from 8 to 18 July 2021.

National Arts Festival Presents – a selection of National Arts Festival, Standard Bank Jazz Festival, and independent fringe productions presented in partnership with city venues. Made possible through their partnership with Standard Bank. From 17 June 2021.

National Arts Festival Online – brings the National Arts Festival into your living room with a selection of shows made for online. This is also where you can enjoy the Standard Bank Jazz Festival. Coming to your personal screen in July 2021.
