Klerksdorp - The plane that crashed this morning at the Klerksdorp Air show was privately owned. Defence force spokesperson, Siphiwe Dlamini says the plane was an L-39 Albatros which does not belong to the Air force. The highly experienced pilot, who flew the aircraft, was killed in the crash. The pilot was attempting an aerial manoeuvre when the aircraft crashed, bursting into flames on impact. Brian Emminis is there:
