Bloemfontein - Parents of the more than 2 000 students at the Motheo FET College are demanding that the principal of the institution explain why students' pleas for textbooks and other educational materials have been ignored for the past two months. Some parents are demanding a refund from the college. They say management's failure to resolve students' issues, is impacting on their children's education. Acting CEO Andrew Senoko says management has been trying to reason with students but without success. However, student representative, Nkosinathi Ngesi, says management is corrupt and until the Minister of Higher Education intervenes, students refuse to attend classes. One of the parents, Maleshwane Modise, spoke to OFM.
