ANCYL In NC backs Botes─── 16:33 Tue, 05 Dec 2017
The ANC Youth League in the Northern Cape are backing their former chairperson, Alvin Botes, in his fight with the Provincial Executive Committee (PEC).
Botes is set to face disciplinary steps today, for refusing to be redeployed to the National Assembly since October.
The Youth League's Neo Maneng said if Mabilo is not good enough to serve in national parliament, what would make him good enough for the provincial legislature.
He questioned why the ANC would remove a performing MEC like Botes and leave behind MECs who have “dark clouds hanging over their heads” since taking office. Maneng says this will risk the possibility of damaging the credibility and integrity of the ANC in the province for factional reasons.
