Man reported missing after allegedly being shot─── JOSCA HUMAN 13:17 Tue, 15 Aug 2017

Police are investigating a case of a missing person after a 24-year-old man was allegedly shot and injured by a farmer in Majakaneng near Brits in North West on 2 August.
Three men were allegedly stealing from a farmer when he fired shots and accidentally hit and injured one man. The 24-year-old was reported missing two days later.
Spokesperson Sabata Mokgwabone says the police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
"However, as the police, we are busy with an investigation and requesting members of the community in and around Majakaneng to assist with any information that may shed light on a missing person inquiry and attempted murder case that has been registered," says Mokgwabone.
In the meantime, police warned alleged criminals have started damaging properties in the Majakaneng area. They are also targeting passing motorists, whose vehicles are being pelted with stones.
Spokesperson Sabata Mokgwabone says the road is currently closed for motorists.
"We also want to indicate that the N4, R104, as well as the R566 are closed for traffic. The police are in the area. Unfortunately, two trucks and a bakkie have been burnt down. We are also urging members of the community to refrain from damaging property, including pelting passing motorists with stones. We will not allow that. Whoever commits crimes must know that he or she will pay the consequences," says Mokgwabone.
