Police Minister Fikile Mbalula visits Botshabelo─── CATHY DLODLO 15:19 Fri, 09 Jun 2017
The Free State Police welcomed Police Minister Fikile Mbalula, with a show of force as they conducted a massive roadblock on the N8 road between Bloemfontein and his hometown, Botshabelo.
Mbalula is visiting this town as part of his nationwide roadshow. Cathy Dlodlo, OFM journalist, reports that he arrived accompanied by Free State Police, Roads and Transport MEC, Sam Mashinini, and Provincial Commissioner, Lebeona Tsumane.
Mbalula's first stop this morning was at the roadblock.
Then he moved to the Botshabelo Police Station where he was in a closed meeting with members of the top provincial police management. Meanwhile, people were already streaming into the stadium where he was expected to address the community.
