UFS students to be re-registered─── 16:52 Fri, 28 Apr 2017
Bloemfontein - More than a hundred students are presently re-registering after the SRC and the management of the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, managed to come to an agreement regarding de-registered students.
The university has promised that "no student will be deregistered”. This follows after several students were arrested for protesting the deregistrations. Most deregistrations were the result of outstanding fees, from students who had been provisionally registered and missed the deadline for final payment. SRC president Sikhululekile Luwaca, thanked students for supporting their anti-registration campaign.
