Man shot dead in Khuma, Stilfontein area in the NW─── 10:07 Tue, 18 Oct 2016
Stilfontein - A man was declared dead Monday night after he was shot in Extension 6 in Khuma, in the Stilfontein area in North West, ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing Harduth said.
“ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the man, believed to be 24 years of age, lying on the ground at the back of a property near an outside toilet,” said Bodasing Harduth in a terse statement on Tuesday.
At the time the area had been cordoned off by the police, who had attended to the shooting incident.
“Upon assessment it was found that the man had succumbed to his injuries. He was declared dead.”
There were no reports of arrests. Police are investigating.
