Kimberley - John Dykman, a school teacher at Grey College in Bloemfontein, says the minor accused in the Griekwastad triple murder case became more confident at school during the period after the murders in April 2012, even insolent and arrogant.
Dykman is the second state witness to testify during sentencing proceedings in the Northern Cape High Court in Kimberley.
The 17-year-old boy was found guilty on 27 March of three counts of murder, one of rape and one of defeating the ends of justice. This was related to the murders of Deon Steenkamp, his wife, Christel, and their daughter Mathella on their farm Naauwhoek.
The child was fifteen when the crimes were committed.
