Bloemfontein - The department of Correctional Services spoke too soon when it said a large portion of the dismissed G4S employees would soon be reinstated.
Popcru Free State secretary, Rankele Msinto, says they were of the view that the 263 employees would be reinstated shortly after this announcement was made in January. 331 Employees were fired in September for participating in an illegal strike.
Employees have told OFM News that since the promise in January, all they've received have been uniforms and are still waiting to be re-employed.
Msinto says G4S and the department are currently discussing issues that need to be resolved at the facility.
