Kimberley - A 17-year-old boy has been found guilty of the murders of Griekwastad farmer Deon Steenkamp, his wife Christel, and daughter Marthella.
They were shot dead on their farm Naauwhoek on April 6 2012.
The teenager was also found guilty of raping Marthella and defeating the ends of justice.
The State asked that bail be revoked and a new bail application brought pending sentencing.
The State also says the case will have to be postponed for a pre-sentencing report required in terms of the child justice act.
Defence attorney Riaan Bode has asked that bail for the accused be extended.
He estimates that six weeks are needed to finalise pre-sentencing reports but will try to speed up the process.
The court has adjourned until 14:30.
Dates for sentencing are being discussed.
