Los Angeles - Actor Larry Drake, best known for his role as Benny on "L.A. Law", died at his home in Los Angeles yesterday.
Drake was 66. He won two Emmys for playing the developmentally disabled messenger Benny Stulwicz.
The cause of his death was not immediately known.
His manager, Steven Siebert, said Drake had some health problems and had been trying to manage his weight.
Siebert said he had taught acting in the past few years and loved it. He remembered Drake as someone who was honest, loyal and kind.
